Expanding Opportunity

Introducing the MSCI World Index Crediting Strategy

At Oceanview Life, we’re committed to providing retirement solutions that are both straightforward and thoughtfully designed. That means giving financial professionals and their clients access to a range of crediting strategies—each with a clear purpose.

With the addition of the MSCI World Index crediting strategy, we’re expanding that lineup to include an additional index-based option, including global developed market exposure with a fixed indexed annuity framework.

Why global exposure—and why now?

Today’s economy is more connected than ever. Many of the world’s leading companies generate revenue across multiple regions, and growth opportunities may extend beyond a single country.

The MSCI World Index is designed to measure the performance of large- and mid-cap companies across 23 developed markets, representing a broad cross-section of the global economy. With more than 1,300 constituents and coverage of approximately 85% of market capitalization in each country, it offers a diversified view of established markets worldwide.

For clients, that means index-linked interest crediting based on the performance of an index that reflects companies located in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific—all within a single index.

How MSCI World complements your existing options

Each crediting strategy in the Harbourview FIA lineup plays a distinct role. Together, they provide flexibility to align with different preferences and perspectives on the market.

  • S&P 500® – Broad exposure to large U.S. companies
  • Nasdaq-100® – Companies primarily in technology‑oriented sectors
  • Russell 2000® – Small-cap U.S. companies with different growth dynamics
  • MSCI World Index – Large- and mid-cap companies across developed global markets

Adding MSCI World offers an additional index option for clients seeking crediting strategies tied to global developed markets.

A different kind of diversification

While U.S. markets remain a significant part of global growth, they represent just one part of the opportunity set.

The MSCI World Index includes companies from 23 developed countries and spans a wide range of sectors—from technology and financials to healthcare and industrials.

This broader exposure may appeal to clients who prefer index‑linked crediting tied to multiple regions.

  • Reduce reliance on any single economy
  • Capture growth across multiple regions
  • Provide balance alongside U.S.-focused strategies

Built for simplicity, designed for flexibility

As with all Oceanview crediting strategies, the MSCI World option is designed to be straightforward and flexible within the FIA structure.

Clients can choose to allocate directly to the strategy—or incorporate it as part of a broader allocation approach, such as the Equal Weight option, which spreads allocations evenly across all four indices.

This flexibility allows financial professionals to tailor strategies based on client preferences—whether they prioritize familiarity, innovation, smaller companies, or global exposure.

Supporting confident retirement decisions

At its core, adding the MSCI World Index crediting strategy is about giving clients an additional index‑linked crediting choice within a familiar FIA structure.

It’s another way Oceanview supports financial professionals in offering clear, thoughtfully designed crediting options to support diverse financial objectives.

Amounts allocated to an index are not directly invested in the stock market or any index and do not include dividends. Index performance does not reflect actual investment results.
